Quite Hating Howie....
Just cause you don't like stock...........Don't get all upset...
The suggestion was to have a seperate class not all stock classes to run that long...
And in that case..two quals and a main are a total of 6 extra minutes...Come on Grampa your off on Mondays...quit the belly achin'...LOL

Howard isn't hating, he's just grumpy. 
I think the overall idea got out of hand. Instead of a seperate class, just have a dollar race at the end of the day. Everyone seems to enjoy that and it's a little different. Besides that way, anyone that wants to run for more than 5 mins. will be able to.

Track #2 of Mike's designs has good flow running it clockwise.
I learned early on that a straight in front of the drivers stand is a bad thing.
I would say to keep all races at 5 min. Open practice, one track lay-out, the same for eveyone.
Just my $0.02, I really don't have any experience with this kind of stuff.

I think it would be ground braking to try something new...Every hates change I understand but come on...if there isn't enough people signed up for it kill the class if there is enough than just run it....
Home many times do we watch Nitro rookie with three or four guys run heck give it chance....and if you think about it Japaneese guys have been doing 8min stock class for a long time and they seem to enjoy them...

No one's cuttin' ya down bro. I dont think anyone is against the idea of 7 min racing...infact, i would be open to it for Nov. Lamirada race..just for toys 4 tots, we averaged over the years 20-24 heats so time at the t4t race is a factor. I am always open to new classes...teh Mabuchi was 6 minutes...Dollar race was 7 minutes..so lets see what happens in November.
