Race Prep Raceway was one I remember. That was the first track for me when I ran an original narrow RC10 and 1400mah cells.

Race Prep in chatsworth? The one that was super tight and small and hardly had walking room? =)

Ok.. what about.. RCRC in Gardena. (was adjacent to Ascot Raceway ...yeah the big dirt oval track). I still have a Novice Trophy when I raced there back like in 1990.. LOL.. hahah.

Anybody remember that track in Cypress back in the day? Or so I think it was Cypress. I was only 4 haha but it had an oval track... I think it may be SoCal R/C but were they also somewhere else too before they moved to Huntington Beach? Oh and who remembers that one track in Costa Mesa.. forgot the name

SoCal Raceway used to be in Fountain Valley, in what used to be a Market building. They had a huge offroad elevated track, a side oval track that was smaller and very good pit space... was a tight place to run. =)

MnM was great, and the owner was awesome. He would know everyone's name and if you needed a part he didn't have, he would ask around the pits for you until he found it!! He always treated my brothers and I real great!!

Also what about Ranch Pit Stop!! Now that was a great track also!!

Ahh yes..Joe Stanovich. I think he is the main reason why i raced in the first place! If it were not for his great attitude and warm welcome everyweek, i probably would not be racing today. Thanx for all the good memories Joe...where ever you are!

RC Racing Center in Lakeside (East San Diego County) is where I got started. Small indoor offroad track but it was awesome. Also the Old (huge) Discount Hobbies when they had the outdoor off road and indoor onroad very similar to SoCal. Only ran there a couple times. Damn I wish that were still there, I work across the street from that building. I'd be there practicing every day.
