2015 Trains and Lanes Outdoor Offroad Racing - Easton, PA
#391
Looking in to coming out and racing. I've only raced onroad for several year but started with offroad. Are there turnouts consistently for 4wd sc? Looking into e-buggy too but not sure which Id want to run just yet. Too far to drive for onroad racing since nothing around allentown is running them this summer. I'll be looking for either a 4wd sct or e-buggy.... Unless I hear short course isn't run.

The Track Layout was Awesome Loved the step-up jump... Wagon-Wheel turn & small triple jumps where tricky for me...But it was an awesome challenging layout to race on Enjoyed it... Had to Leave after Main's started I Stepped into a Nasty Rut / Hole in the Stone area of the Parking Lot & Bucked my left ankle pretty bad... So I just packed up my stuff & left I was race 19 Novice E-Buggy So I had to be a scratch for that one...I wanted to get home & Ice - Meds for my Ankle...See you guys @ the Hut "I HOPE" for RND #2

I run Tekin Gen-2 Systems in all my Rides but that's just my preference Teken Systems are pricey $$$... But Hobbywing has decent system's & some of the 1/8 buggy guys are running them & from what I hear they like them & have not experienced any problems... KV Motor size is basically up to YOU.... I run a 1900KV motor in my buggy but most guys are running between 1700-2000 KV's....

Hobbywing esc and HW motor or the SMC motor and be done !
0 problems with them .
I run a 2100kv Trackstar (Red can) sensored motor with the punch down and a little negative expo on my buggy.
