Thanks for a great day of racing. I really needed that.... Was good to get the f1 cars back on the rug.
See you all in a few weeks.

I had fun yesterday. Big thanks to everyone, Especially Al for trimming my hubs, Mike(?) for the colorful commentary and battery tape. And for everyone else not laughing to hard when I wreaked solo during practice.
I don't get out often, but the Lipo looks to be a huge improvement over the nimh. With the older batteries, I would get out once every two months or so and fuss most of the time with trying to wake up a pack.
Need to figure out how to charge lipo's now but it looks to be George foreman style now. Mike(?) - I ran this with the charge you gave me the last open day in the spring. I had plugged in my power supply in the spring and one of the resistors went, so this was the first attempt at running the updated gfx with lipo.
Really nice facility, hopefully I can slip away from the family a little this season and get some racing laps in.
I have a basket case of a project 1/12 ftr full throttle that was never completed. Next time I go I'll bring for advice on the build or if it's even worth trying to finish.

YES!
That was my 1st time ever on a subfloor/crc track.
What a difference...I was highly impressed.
Grip once "up" stayed very consistent from round to round.
I can't imagine there being a better racing surface.
I ran year old clapped out touring tires every round..and never felt like
grip was an issue. That's saying alot.
Wish I could be there next weekend...the fast guys are going to be very happy
with the upgrades I would assume.
