Damn this thread is more entertaining than the race will be. Good luck to all criers, normal racers, hacks, and anyone else I might of missed.

I love the way the truck handled, but I got a little worried since they no longer make the body for it (and the 2 bodies I had for it were almost shot) and there was a 6 month period where you couldn't get rear arms for it. I had the same problem with my Durango truggy...they discontinued the fuel tank

I have been following the HP USA thread for a while and for some reason their vehicles intrigued me. I did buy the truck, too, because I had too!!

Lol, TD parts support can be weird some times. They are usually pretty good about keeping parts for the buggies going. The truck could be a sign of being discontinued soon. Or a new v2.

So will we be seeing you indoors this winter with that new buggy?

That's the plan for right now. I don't race Sundays so Bumps is out except for the Christmas Classic and Elite race. I'll probably run at Railyard regularly and hit the big races at Bumps. As usual I stirred up the stadium truck talk on the Railyard thread so hopefully I'll be running both buggy and truck all winter.

I wonder if any of the local tracks will ever pick up short course buggy. I'd love to try one out.

Great Planes is showing the SC and ST Durango trucks are discontinued from the Manufacture. Great Planes owns Durango so that means either new trucks are in the works or they are not going to produce them anymore.

You sure? I just bought the Durango SCT and I'm in the process of building it. Though I did hear of a V2 version of the DESC210R in the works

Extravaganza Results are up on the website. I also added last week's results and the current points.

It shows DISC by Manufacture on Great Planes website and they own the company.

My guess is the V1 truck is gone...V2 is next (same thing happened to the V1 buggy..it showed discontinued, then the V2 came out).

BTW, on the DEST210 forum someone noticed that the body is shown on Tower Hobbies's now as "Late September" so now I guess they are making the body. Figures, the week after I sell it! No biggie though, I love building kits and I have 2 to build soon.

I'm sure Durango has a new V2 SC and ST trucks coming out but GP don't list them as yet if we wanted to back order one. I'm sure as soon as they have prototypes out they will be available to back order.
