Default Tire questions

Greeting...

I am planning to come down from Montreal (Canada) to race the TCS event in July and some club racing the day before the event.

I will be getting with my TC 13.5, Mini M05 and F1...(possible VTA) I need your help and expertise from racing at the Jackson track what is the tire type best for each class.

One more thing... any recommendation for a good reasonable priced hotel/motel close to the race track?

All replies are highly appreciated.
Thanks
Rami

Most of the "close" hotels are very expensive, when we stay over we tend to drive 20-30 mins away to get better rates, there is a amusement park called great adventure in the area and there are hotels near it. I've stayed at the Hampton Inn in East Windsor, but hotels in that general area should be good.

Looking forward to visiting Jackson this summer. At Critters I've proved to be a "moving curb"...

It would be nice to see 13.5 blinky 1/12th scale make a come back. it was a blast running this class at Jackson during the Nats.

Those type of classes need some one to initiate. especially when most of us that don't know enough about 1/12 scale cant get them working. If you come down with at 1/12 and show people it can work i'm sure more people will be willing to run them. I know others have asked me directly about them and i always no one runs them.
