No racing this Sunday. First race, on the new layout, will be August 2nd. That's the Summer Sizzler Round 3.

This Sunday, is a cash race at Trains and Lanes Hobbies and you'll find most of the HH crew there.

We support each other's tracks and work on not competing with each other the best we can.

Impacts soft, Grid irons , Calibers etc. I always find myself using Impacts most of the time at most places .

Is the track open for practice Sunday?

I just went over to Hobby Hut to see what the scene is and found it closed. I was thinking about getting into RC racing starting w/ 2wd short course truck racing. Is the Hobby Hut Track still going on, and are there 2wd SCT races throughout the year? I see some mentions of 4wd SCT, but those are a bit more expensive and maybe less beginner friendly. Are there any 'stock' races for folks who are more interested in racing for fun then tuning and modding a machine? Thanks, Ryan.

Hobby Hut raceway is open it just the hobby shop closed we just had a big race there with over 150 entries for the final Tri-county summer sizzler series were 3 tracks joined together and put on one of the greatest series. Hobby hut gets alot of 1/8 scale and some 4wd sct i don;t know how local you are but i know trains and lanes and mushroom bowl rc gets a good turn out for them. but i would suggest save up a little more and get 1/8 ebuggy this class is one of the biggest turn outs ive seen and think its only going to get bigger. with the 3 part series we had 90 ebuggys sign up to run good luck and hope this helps out a little bit
