Sling, I think my 4WD would run well on bare rims, it is just so much different than 2WD it wouldn't be fair to compare. The track does seem to be settling down and grooving up nicely. Needless to say I did mount up some M4 ions just to try them out. From my perspective the critical turns didn't get disrupted from the previous layout and that is were I need grip. I keep a set of sweep slicks in my back pocket since they were the fastest tire for me on the last layout. I'm not sure that is much help, but I thought I'd chime in just the same.

I have to skip a few Wed. nights because of some family fun planned so I will see you guys in a few weeks. Keep it real and don't cut the TRACK(watched the Sat. 4WD video)!

Thanks. Think there will be enough 2wd SCTs or will they just run the 2wds and 4wds together?

Hard to say.....
Would need a crystal ball to help answer that question.
At the very least You would get plenty of track time if you show up early

Had a blast last night with everyone, even though I was out to lunch with 2wd and M2 offroad tires. It's pretty evident that I need something softer. For pro-line tires, do you guys prefer M4 or MC compound? I know the MC is clay specific, but I think it's a bit hard.

Fun times last night, 10 minutes was still not enough time for me to make up all my mistakes in the main. Now I gotta hear it from Jeff and Chris for a week.

Funny, Jeff and Chris were the ones who made the most recent changes to the track...
