Anybody know the actual dimensions of the track? Pictures can be very deceiving.

I am sure this will pan out by the end of the week. I might go and run my buggy Friday night with the bumps set up to see how it is, that will be stock 17.5.
My Buggy is also setup for stock 17.5. I used my Mushroom Bowl setup except that I used gold bar codes instead of pin points (carpet tire). My buggy hooked up well using that set up. Now I used the same setup on my first practice run at Bumps the next day and I was real loose. Had to change the rear camber and go to harder front springs

What's with these track threads that don't have the pertinent information in the first post...

Hours of operation
Race Days / Hours
Classes raced and rules
Race Fee's per class
Upcoming events?

+9000 to Saturday Race day.
I'll update the first post in this thread as soon as I gather concrete information about the program - sorry that this is still relatively vague.

Wow. Massive potential here. A ton of money was put into this place that's for sure. The shop alone looks amazing.

Paul, the owner told me, that he would start a formal racing program sometime in January after the holidays.

I hope they race all year. Some of us don't like giant dusty 8th scale tracks

The owner (Paul) spoke of running air conditioned indoor racing through the hot summer months.

And now, maybe my t-shirts won't soak through during events in July!

You would probably be better off just starting a new thread once you get the full race details all sorted out. That way new people won't get confused reading these first 4 pages of startup info. Just a thought....

That being said, I will be down Sunday to check it out

Track is built from the same clay as Lincoln Speedway. My tires had a nice reddish color to them after practice.

I'll be there too, probably around 11:30 when the track opens. It's a test and tune day for me. Haven't been on clay in over three years. I'll be doing more tinkering than driving most likely.

Hey guys - I'm not going to be able to make it up this weekend - I'm checking out MRH Saturday and SJRC on Sunday. It sounds like there might be a good number of people going to take a closer look at the place. Anybody that takes pictures or videos, would you please post what you have here or email them to me at: [email protected] ? I can help spread them a few different ways...

** By the way, don't expect a full-fledged program to be in place when you get there. It's only the beginning and all of it has just recently been built. It surely needs some TLC and attention to get some bugs worked out and everything running smoothly.

For those that are going up to the Railyard - HAVE FUN!!!
