Great night of racing, excellent way to wrap up the old racing surface.

Onto the highlights:

Rock Crawling was intense and nail biting at times...looks like fun.

2wd shortcourse action saw local favorite Michael Furnari show Roger and company how its done and takes down the 2wd shortcourse a main in convincing fashion...His truck looked great out there, makes me want to get back into some 2wd sc action in the springtime.

4wd shortcourse was the highlight of the evening. In the over 40 class (B main) it was Josh Speiwak taking advantage of some incredible mistakes by yours truly and took the early lead. I managed to regroup and pull out the win and make all of us old dudes proud. Great run.
A main action was all local Ron and, as Jay called it, has the keys and its his playground and he will win every chance he gets...Steve Charles tried his best to ruin the party, but the boss always comes first..with Tq Tony in third followed by Shakey hands and Michael Furnari (whose truck worked real well).

a 17.5 a main surfaced from out of nowhere and Jay Zellner proved that he can win on any surface...Great run guys.

Looking forward to the track changes and thanks to the very hard work and dedication of the whole Cruizin with RC crew....

Good times Dom. Nice recap. Was good to run that surface/layout one last time. Looking forward to lots of racing on the new surface!

Guys I have good news and bad news. Good news: dirt is here. Anybody willing to lend a hand we sure can use it. New layout is going in as I am sitting here writing this. Bad news is this weekend the track is closed. After the dirt settles and stiffens up we'll be back to racing. Steve will have more about our season opener shortly. Keep up with our Facebook updates and we'll keep the rctech community posted. Stores still open so feel free to drop by lend a hand or just hangout.

Nah, that is the season!
Just rolled once or twice in triple A. I know I lost one spot in 13.5 A1, cost me a 3rd. Had a great weekend.

This new dirt surface, it's gonna make it a Barcode tire style track now? As opposed to the current loose surface which calls for a holeshot type tire?

You are correct my friend. Trying to go back to a bar code style tire.

Cant wait for the new season..........

- New Layouts
-Fresh Surface
-Great Race Director
-Excellent Competition
-Great Crowd

Now if Mother Nature would bless us with some temps above 40 deg, we'd be all set....

Now lets race....
