Still just talk about running them at Bumps but more people seem to have them.

Between rebuilds and other race needs (TIRES!!) I am really spending a lot. Definitely not gonna be able to get a 2nd 1/10 scale (buggy).

I am rebuilding my truck for Motorama. I see The Track has a big race on Jan 18th in which ST is listed as a class. If I get my radio back from KO before then I may try to make that race also.
I know I have planed to convert my SCT to a ST, but now that I know I'm going to be running at Motorama, I'm going to have to keep my SCT a SCT for a while. We'll see if I can get a ST.

Putting together a Losi SCTE as my back up plan, I'm really liking the power of my 4wd buggy, and I know there's always a truck class.

My guess is after the Christmas Classic at Bumps the guys will start bringing out their ST trucks to run. I would guess the first race we are back after the Christmas Classic or after the new year guys will bring them out. I would just get a post started on the Bumps thread to get everyone to meet up on the same race day. I know 5 or 6 guys have them and I saw them sitting in their pits last weekend.

The track changes look good so far. Are there any plans to change the left side of the track after the straight, or is that staying the same?

Any thoughts on allowing the super light 1/8th buggy conversions for 2014?
Basically it's a SCT truck that is converted into a light weight 1/8th buggy racing on 2s lipo's. The complaint when we raced 1/8th before was they tore up the track to much. With the weight, it's the same as a sct truck now.

4wd SCT guys running open wheel buggy bodies!
That could get ugly real fast!

But it sounds fun!

Hopefully some of the guys running 4wd buggy at Bumps will continue to race them outside at your place. I'm new so I don't know what the crossover between tracks is.

What is the motivation for the intermediate classes if you are just going to end up running them in the same heat as the regular classes anyway? Most of the time last year there was barely enough people to fill a 4x4sct main.

+1 on the intermediate classes.
I think you might get some interest in the pro spec sct class, it sure was alot of fun a few years back with the faster guys running them.

I think it might be hard to get a 4wd buggy class going, but hopefully the 2wd buggy class will continue to grow.

5:30 start time? That is going to make it tougher for me to make it out on Friday nights.

Reason why no one shows up because its gets old when the same guys win every week so based on times I'll group the fast guys in the expert class within in reason and the key goal is to get new racers involved not always pleasing the regulars that race every year its the key to get more involved in the hobbie.as for the start time we might start at 6 530 sign ups close.I know pro spec will be a hit me Gary and some others will race I have the rules done up I just have to have Jim approve. I just wanna make this season enjoyable for all ages. And as for 4x4 buggy its possible we could add it but one will have to go.

Any feed back on starting at six sign ups close at 530. Also spec pro is a go other class changes might not happen but rules for spec pro are any rtr or 17.5 brushless no timing blinky mode can time on the endbell only. Any upgrades allowed that are direct replacement shocks springs ball diffs chassis upgrades basically yiu can run your mod sct just has to have a brushed or 17.5 system. Any sct tire must use factory rims still. Any servo any sct bodies no bugs.2s lipo only or nimh uo to 7.2 volts. Official rules will be posted
