There seems to be a lot of conflicting answers in this thread. Your best bet is to call the shop and ask if the carpet track is open for practice.

I'm going to go to DRP this Saturday. I've never been there before but saw video's of the new layout.. looks good.

Does anybody have a good carpet suspension set up for a SC10 2wd ? My son is just getting into it and we plan to use the track for practice so I can help get him on his way. I gave him my FT sc10 that I built 2yrs ago but never put anything in it. It will have...

I started with dboots Terabyte tires front and rear. Rpm front bumper. Around 40wt shock oil and stiffer springs. I also switched to gear diff with losi 2k diff oil. Seemed to help me and my kids with those setup tips.
