Looks like another great ROAR Region 2 Race Series!!

Go Region 2!

Some of the fastest and smartest guys are here:cool:

kuruption 04-15-2013 06:47 PM

Too bad there isn't more nitro at these races... :\

EastCoasterVa 04-15-2013 07:32 PM

What are the specs for the Mini Cooper class? Is it box stock? I've read you can add bearings and shocks.

We can easily add nitro to all races if there are drivers will to race. I will be trying to run nitro on a weekly basis at MRH. But have not been able to keep class going.

So its up to you nitro guy's. Let me know.

You may use any hop ups you like. Must be a Tamiya m03, m05, or m06. You can use any 60mm tire or small. Tamiya S grips are common and a lot use sweep 33, or 40.

Region 2

Sounds great this will be a good series:nod:

jmackani 04-17-2013 09:25 AM

Looking good for the onroad guys. Thanks to Ed Z for managing this side of the racing for ROAR Region 2.

Jethroz 04-17-2013 10:25 AM

Any chance the 3rd round at MRH could be scheduled to not interfere with the Jackson TCS on the same weekend?

I have been looking to move it up a week to July 13th or back a week. But have to check with others first. Let you know shortly.

SMcD 04-18-2013 08:28 PM

Hey' I've been stickied! So cool!!

flyintrtle 04-20-2013 09:45 PM

Ed Z, what will be the rules for WGT besides 13.5? Can we still use 4.8 volts if we still have round cells? Thanks Tim C.

Ed Z 04-21-2013 09:20 AM

Date Change

Race 3

We are changing the date for the third race in the series so we do not conflict with Jackson's TCS race. We want racers to be able to attend both races. Last year Jackson put on a great race! I know that I as well as many of the MRH racers will be attending. Please come out to see us at both races! The new date for the third race of the ROAR Region 2 On-Road Asphalt Championship will be July 27th! Please adjust your calendars!

WGT is 13.5 blinky, 1s lipo, and WGT spec tires. However, not too many people run pan cars (besides f1) outdoors, so you may want to get a TC or f1 together :)
