2013 Dirt Nitro Challenge
Can't believe no one has made a thread for this event,
So here goes.
With less than 40 days until the event, who's in?
Can't believe it's been a year since the last one already. Can't wait to see what Joey and his crew has up their sleeves for the layout this year. Hopefully there won't be any rain.
I hear that it'll be a three track setup again with seperate announcing/RDing for each track. That shoul dhelp things along, though could get just a bit intresting for racers that plan racing classes that will span two or all three of the tracks.
The thing I'm intrested in seeing this year is the old 1/10th Gas Truck class, more importantly some of the Por's that may run it as thye have to run a period correct paint scheme for the hayday of the class. That could mean that some old schemes that haven't been used in a long time or seen in a long time will or might be out there. For me, that's the treat.
Anyway counting down the days, and they sure ain't going by fast enough.

I was thinking the same thing. I just looked for the thread tonight and found this LOL.
I'm in for Gas Truck and 40+ buggy. I'll be wheeling a nearly NEW factory team gt2 sponsored by One Hobbies in Peoria, AZ. Joey is due here around the 8th of Feb to work on the track. I've never raced gt before, and it's already helping me with my buggy game.
Tent city pit party will be huge, but I probably won't be DJ'ing this time around, because we don't have the sound system this year. At least we'll get some sleep this time.
Check TheDirt on facebook. Hotel info is posted, same hotel as the driver's social last year. Nearby, and they have a racer rate.
Dust off those gas trucks! I would love to see it make a comeback.

The dirt crew showing up on the 8th? Wow that's hella early, but they do have three tracks to build so maybe it's not too early. If they get any rain before hand, it might not be early enough.
Are the same tires still working at FF as last year? Looking like I'll only need two sets to be ready if the same tires still work.
