You can always control your car from the grassy mound... It's the only way around the problem, or you could bring your own elevation system..

Hi Jeff, hope all is well...
In regards to the drivers stand being in compliant with ADA:
Sorry Jeff at the current time is not ADA accessible but as mentioned on a previous post with the resources that we have to use around us weather from the hill top or not I will personally meet you there at the track try and make something work for the time being...
The drivers stand at Floyd had been built many, many years ago by a few racers that took initiative and got the job done for us racers who were there every weekend to drive our cars and have fun, unfortunately until that came to an end. I do know though however that it had been built to withstand many storms and Hurricanes and never came down and she's still in good use
For future references we are still currently awaiting permits to allow us to hold races with the use of a lap counter as well as a PA system. This can be the very Voice we need of interest that can help make this happen sooner then later and then be able to accommodate all DRIVERS
Thanks Jeff for your interests and hope to see all again soon. Mike...

Yesterday felt like I was at a Barbecue with friends and families cooking up some nitro engines

This is sad news. I just moved to DE and was glad to know there was a place to run RCs. Very sad

I was thinking about what we could do to help get a permit for racing. when we spoke, it's the PA system that is the issue. what if we did something like every racer dial into a conference call using their ear pieces. So while racing the racers can hear the race announcer give racing commands etc.
just an idea. their may be free conferencing or a low cost service we could use and would be covered by the race fee.
what do you guys think?

Is this track open for public practice on Sundays. I am from CT but I take my daughter to dance in NY and have always time to kill. Can I practice with a 1/5th gas road car if no one is on the track? .
Thanks,
Miles
