1/10 at the yard? I think there would be so many lanes, it would be 45-60 sec lap times! 1/10 is better for smaller tracks and indoor tracks.

Its not going to be 45-60 lap times in 1/10. More like 28-30sec laps in mod.

The fast guys at the eworlds were running around 25sec laps with 1/8 e buggys...I'm sure with a 1/10 2wd the times would be around 40seconds or more.

I was at the worlds and when everything was over with I ran my SC in blinky mode 34sec lap times. A good mod driver would be in the high 20sec range.

1/10 is a possible. I would race wheelbarrows if we had enough entries and could get the transponders powered. :-) Laps times would be 5-7 seconds a lap slower on the current layout for 1/10th. I think what Ron was originally getting out is.....with the size of the Yard if it were built into a 1/10th track it would be way more lanes and a longer lap time.

Happy Thanksgiving dudes. I am thankful for all the entries we had this season and for seasons to come.

1/10 would be easy at the yard, just make the typical 1/8 track and just block a few lanes off for 1/10

I'll go out on a limb and say 1/10 will be one of the bigger classes

10th scale(other than Short Course) is for kids or indoors. Or separate race days so it doesn't add to the long days. Too many classes now almost

Homer, remember "Run what you Brung" I say have one weekend a month to which that applies. Right now the sport is changing again. All the companies are putting most of their time and effort into 10th scale. I doubt that too many classes are a problem at the yard with the way you run a smooth program. We could have 1/10th electrics on Saturday morning that would probably finish up by 3 and then go into 1/8th scale. Then have 1-2 qualifiers Saturday night then the 3rd qualifier and mains on Sunday.

The biggest problem for turnouts again has been RAIN..I say bring back the tarps and pump off the water if needed. I went up before the Ebuggy Worlds in hope to get some practice and as soon as I pulled up the sky fell out and the track was done before I ever unpacked and started my buggy..
