Rochester's Southsideracing.com OFF-ROAD Races - 1/8th, 1/10 Nitro/Elect, Mnstr Truck

Not many people realize that we exist down here (Rochester), but we have one of the best outdoor OFF-Road tracks in the state.
Most people recognize us for our excellent indoor Dirt-Oval races that weekly pull from Iowa and Wisconsin in the fall/winter. But, starting last year, we've resurrected our Off-Road track and race program and now run a spring and summer point series. Our Off-Road point series are run weekly aside from some Holiday/Special Event breaks.
Our facility has an on-site hobby shop, in-door & outside pit areas, ac power, refreshments/concessions as well as AMB timing equipment and transponders.
Our drivers stand stands about 8' to 10' tall and gives drivers an excellent view of the huge track. The track was professionally built by guys that have been building RC / BMX tracks for the last 15 years. The current track was developed to handle any type of off-road racing, from 1/10 scale electric truck to Monster Trucks, to 1/8th scale Nitro buggies. The track also has a good mix of elements, i.e., rythm sections, big jumps, doubles, switch backs, berms, straight-a-ways.... On race day, to improve traction, we water the track before each set of heats(2 heat races) and the mains
Our current classes that have had good attendance are;
1/8th Scale Buggy
1/10 Scale Nitro Truck
1/10 Scale Electric Truck
1/10 Scale Nitro Truck
Off-Road races are run on Sundays
Racer's compete in 2 heats each to determine TQ and placement in the main event.
Track/Hobby shop opens @ 12 noon
Race entry sign-in's end at 1:45pm
Races start @ 2pm

1st Class = $12
2nd Class = $8
3rd Class = $5
Junior Pricing (15 & Younger)
1st Class = $10
2nd Class = $8
3rd Class = Free
