2012 Indoor Open Day Race

We got the first Race Scheduled for October 13 & 14. It will be a two days race. All 1/10 will be Saturday and all 1/8 will be Sunday. The 2012 Indoor Opening Day Race on the Columbus Day weekend. This is the New Indoor Clay track located in MD just 20 min north of Washington DC. This track is 110' x 50'. This is the Premiere East Coast indoor offroad track !!!
We will have food a lots of give it aways from Sponsors. We have pits tables with power for 90-100 peoples. Red Roof Inn is just 5 blocks from The Track Raceway. Rooms going from $ 57.00 and up. We will post pics of the New Clay Indoor Layout.


Friday 12. 10.00am-8.00 pm Open practice free for all paid entries.
Saturday 13. Race all 1/10 scales.
Sunday 14. Race all 1/8 scales.

We have 4 sponsors already lined up for the 2012 Opening Day Championship. They will provide give away motors, esc, bearings, batteries and gift certificates. This will be an awesome way to open the NEW Track Raceway Indoor Fall/Winter Season. We will have lot of surprises. We also have drivers coming from New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia and the locals from Maryland.

The entry fees I have been told are as follows:

Saturday 1/10th
SEE page 2.
Sunday 1/8th


Just remember, we don't limit classes entered, but you must have a marshal to cover for you, only exception is bump up drivers (so they can get their cars ready).

Also, in order to facilitate a more efficient race program, drivers will go directly out to marshal after their race ( there will be a table for cars and radios). It should flow pretty smooth, since there won't be any nitro's and 15-45 min mains!

We don't want the race director to have to call for marshals (perfect world--let's see if we can make it a reality)!

Less that one month to go for this Big race. Lot of drivers are interesting in this race. I think this will be a good kick off for the 2012 Indoor Off Road @ The Track Raceway.

We are bringing the top East Coast Drivers from Team Associated, TLR and possible some Team Mugen Seiki. The track will be a big impact in the East Coast.
So, get your cars ready!!! You have time to rebuild, clean and even get a new kit to put it on the dirt. Mimi has all brands available for you. Two weeks for the opening practice day and counting !!!
