Another Saturday gone by and another great weekend of racing at SRI. 1/8 E-Buggy and 4x4 SCT are huge classes at our track each and every weekend. We will be racing again next Saturday, August 4th. The track will open at 9am and racing will begin at noon.
Our website has launched a special page on the SRI Showdown, which will quite possibly be the regions largest single day race this season. Give it a look here

SRI is racing again this Saturday, August 18th! Last Saturday was a great day of racing for us with well over 40 entries which included 17 4x4 SCT trucks and 11 E-Buggies! We always have a great time and our locals are extremely welcoming to the new guys that we seem to be getting each and every week now. If you're in the area or looking for a race, come and spend the day with us!

Racing Saturday produced another great day! The atmosphere around the track was awesome and the action on the track was as competitive as ever! 4X4 SCT and 1/8 E-Buggy once again stole the show as each class had 4 or 5 guys going for the win. Nick Colosi was able to fight off an early race battle with Doug Powell to take the 4x4 SCT win and Steven Cummings was able to pull away in the closing minutes of the E-Buggy main to grab his first win in that class.

SRI's first money race was yesterday and set the bar very high for future races with the competition and level of excitement! The top three in 4x4 SCT ran the entire race within the length of the front stretch together, and Doug Powell was able to pull off the win by ONE TRUCK LENGTH over Nick Colosi! Colosi was able to come back the very next race and take the win in E Buggy. Also, it was great to see Tim Evans finally make it to race with us! See you guys next Saturday!

What an awesome way to spend a Saturday! In qualifying, both E-Buggy and 4x4 SC saw the top two spots separated by TWO TENTHS of a second! Yet as exciting as qualifying was, the mains found a way to be even better. Doug Powell and Robert Eisenback ran the ENTIRE 10 minute 4x4 SC main within 15 feet of one another...and there is not the least bit of exaggeration in that statement! Steven Cummings had as consistent of a run as you can possibly have in E-Buggy to pull away from the field and take the win. Keep an eye on the page as we'll be linking you the aerial footage of the 4x4 SC main within the next day!
