2 day TCS Race At S&N Trackside Hobbies
As this is season 11 for the Tamiya Championship Series, there is much to celebrate. The season will kick off with the first ever two day regional race at TrackSide Hobbies as this will be their 10th year anniversary.
The race will be held on February 26-27, 2005.
There will be practice all day friday.
If you have seen in the US Touring car Championship thread, Scotty, Hollywood and the crew at Trackside put on an AWESOME program and this one will be no different.
Hope to see you there

Boomer-
Looking forward to this kickoff of the 2005 season. The Trackside race is always a blast. Do you know if the format will be like the TCS Nats (i.e. controlled practice on Friday, 3 rounds of qualifying on Sat, 4th round on Sun am and then triple A Mains)?

Hi Everyone, After recovering from the Novak race, it is time to set our sights on our next big event, the Tamiya Championship Series. This years race will be very special. It will be the first multi day TCS regional race ever. Tamiya is pulling out all the stops to help us celebrate our 10th year hosting the TCS. We will have special door prizes, special awards and many other wonderful things. We will have practice all day on Friday starting at 11am. We will run 3 quals on Saturday and Triple A mains on Sunday. We invite everyone to Trackside for a wonderful weekend. This being a 3 day event I hope many of you can make to time to come join us for some awsome racing. Remember if you finish in the top 10 in any division, you earn your place at the Nationals held at the Tamiya track in Sunny California in August. If you have any questions, please leave a post and we will reply asap. Hope to see everyone in Feb. Take care, Scotty

For all you guys running GT1, something I wanted to propose something...
Fred Medel has been coming to this race forever, but has never raced in it. As a past champion, Fred should be able to run, but because he's a Tamiya America Employee, he's not allowed. I'd like to see what people think about giving him special dispensation for this one event so Fred can play too. What do you guys think?

Doc,
Don't overlook the other delicacies of dat der region such as knackwurst, kielbassa, or any other sassich based morsel dat I may have left out.
Steve,
I am looking forward to F1 as well, we have been running F1 on a pretty regular basis and have a better handle on the chassis than we did a year ago. As always I would never underestimate yours and Bruces potential.
Gary,
I don't see why he couldn't run. I haven't raced against Fred since the early 90's before he became the international man of mystery that he is today(LOL) It would be fun to run with him again. Hopefully if he does run he won't pay for it with Tamiyas upper management. It would be cooler if he ran F1 as thats where he started.
