WE ARE IN!!!!
If this happens you will see AT LEAST 3 sc 4x4 and AT LEAST 5 sc 2wd from our group! We run a private track in howell and 2 of us run down in vineland also. We were hopeful about the wall stadium track and even tested it for them, but it still is just sitting there waiting to be raced!!KEEP US UPDATED!! PM's accepted.

Excellent idea, I brought that to the table with Youtube videos. I am also a racer. I travel the country racing NMCA and NMRA. I am also a Corvette Challenge Series Coordinator at Raceway Park. I started racing RC cars at Raceway Park in the early 80's. I am giving this some time before I approach the track. This is a huge project. My ideas were to have ROAR events at this location too.
If all went well with off road, I was thinking way down the road if this was go, I thought about an on road course. There are many ideas for this and how it is presented to the track. I did have three of the four owners on my side and willing to go forward with the construction.
I can tell you this, this is not a dead issue.
When I have any information about this, I will post.

i'm in, if it ever happens, but recently I keep hearing raceway park is done after the 2014 season. property to be sold and developed

I am a retired New York City Police Officer. I retired early as a result of injuries due to 9/11. I have been racing (Real Vehicles) at Raceway Park for over 25 years. I race a 85 Mustang GT (mid to high 8's) and a 98 Corvette Pace Car (mid to high 10's).
I am also the coordinator/founder for the Corvette Challenge 11.50 Index.
My signature has a statement there since I have been a member on here. "We need a track in central Jersey" Hint - Hint.
I love racing RC vehicles. I love it so much, I think I have one of every style of racing.
My passion is the off road racing. I smile and giggle like a little kid when I am racing. Not trying to win, but have fun and that I am.
I am a Sagittarius, born on Thanksgiving, like the beach...... LOL Did I cover everything? :-)
I would not start this and not follow this through with it. One, it would make me look bad to the track owners that I have established a great relationship with over the years. Plus my reputation is that I keep my word.

tax on land is too much, no business in winter, im in nw nj, only track is dirtrunners outdoor track, I would like a nice indoor clay or a huge carpet, we need some nice cali tracks.
What NJ needs is for an RC lover to win 350m dollars, buy some land and make indoor,outdoor,carpet, gocart, bmx and a skate park complex

There are tracks family's, sjrc is a huge clay track. And raceway park is a big place with motorcross,drag racing, go karting, they even have an air port! Money isn't a problem.
