I've only seen one 1/8 E-SCT ever. I've never seen them on a track. That class is even smaller then the E-Truggy class. No love lost for it but most racers have gravitated towards 4X4 Mod SCT (1/10).

I think keeping it small (in number of classes) will help make this the race of the year. Yep. Called it already.

Homer,
Any plans for a warmup race? Just with the electrics, those that can make the trip twice? June would be nice..

Yeah I know Jason.....We have a few threads going right now asking the question "Why 10th scale 4WD SC over 8th scale 4WD SC?".....People gravitate to 10th scale thinking that it's cheaper, but when you're talking 4WD, 10th and 8th scale difference in price is less than $100....But if people wanna keep running 10th SCs and breaking parts instead of drive the 8th scale "built like a tank" SCs, then it's their wallet, not mine.....I guess 8th would end up being cheaper because there is hardly any breakage.....

Anyway, I know HPI and HOBAO have 8th E-SCTs coming out, and along with the SC8-E, there could possibly be a class for next year if the interest has sparked by then.....maybe the 10th guys will get tired of buying replacement parts by then...lol.....fingers crossed over here....

Sorry guys I've been away a few days. This race will only be 1/8th buggy and truggy. Maybe we can have a short course worlds as well. We'll see about that. It definately looks like the year of the electrics.

Paul thats great truggies are really fun to drive and after watching Ralph's all year I think that is my new class of choice in electric.

Chad and Ralph you guys have been updated to paid. Thank you very much.

Shane I can't do it on RC sign up, but I will count on you being in the class as well. If you could hit RC sign up with our truggy info that would be great.

123 and counting.
