Look at it this way, we'll all be running together on a HUGE track in clean air.

I just hope I can make it since my first time there, last year, was a blast for me on the electric side. I thought THHRC did a fine job, despite circumstances beyond their control.

Ok nitro lovers, bring on the hatred toward me for saying the above
well no hatred but remember where else can u run nitro in the notheast in the winter.....ONLY motorama ( well at least we did )

I feel sorry for those of you who only run nitro and will not be able to run at motorama. No one likes to loose a place to race. I for one, (running 1/8 electric) would not attend the Motorama event due to the smoke and I'm sure I'm not alone. I did not complain, I just didn't race. Racers like me will surely offset (at least partially) the number or racers that will not attend due to running nitro only. Therefore, many of us are now gaining a place to race!!! I'm certain the event will still be a huge success!!!

Does anyone know the entries percentage nitro vs electric entries?? just curious......was it like nitro 3/4 of the total entries??

Without the nitro part everyone looses! How long do you think they will have the event only with electric? It's only a matter of time until they pull the "plug" on the electric side.......

Motorama was a very successful electric venue long before the nitro cars hit the track. I do not imagine that the loss of nitro will kill the entire porgram.

I'm excited to be able to run 1/10 and 1/8 classes due to being in same arena. I also like the rumor I've heard of 4x4 sc running on 1/8 track. Nothing but upside for electric racers. It will also be good for the hobby with spectators actually watching.

Move Electric into the arena area and put Nitro in a tent outside. Would solve the fumes problem and give electric a bigger track. The rock crawlers could get bigger and some people wanted to do a RC tractor pull too.

Nitros an cold don't mix well...now a 5th scale racing outside ...now your talk-n...

Either way doesnt matter R/C's not supported vary well at this event anyways...need a eastcoast r/c-rama...like a RCX event ...somewhere the vendors and manufactures can give support ..

There was one at the Philly convention center about 20 yrs ago Losi , Associated was there , some aftermarket parts vendors , don`t remember who all was there , but , pretty sure it was only one year . no racing , there had a small track for some of the pros for exhibition. had some seminars during the day . first day was for strictly hobby shop owners and dist. and second was public .

I'm surprised Motorama never included on-road carpet racing to the event. It would bring in a whole other rc community to the event.

How long!!!!!!!!!!!! Please nitro wasn't even a thought when R/C was started at Motorama. Don't flatter yourself on it shutting down because of no nitro as that is wishful thinking. It shuts down when local hobbyshops have the shits of dealing with all the hassles of having a 1 time a year event.

Hell Motorama honestly don't need R/C even their as they will just fill it with another motor sport of some sort and never miss a beat.
