Default $ Snowbirds

It has crossed my mind some lately about going to Snowbirds in 2005, I was curious what the average cost most racers spend there. I have heard $1000+.

Anyone? Just wondering how much I would need to take down there.

Thanks for the interest in the race! I think it all depends on what you do while here. The entry is under 100. The hotel room is about 60 a night. The rest you can use for food - fun - maybe parts.... 1000 is a little high and I am sure you will have some left over.

Hope you can make it and be part of the excitement. CYA!

If you could get a room split with someone it helps...

Figure 4 nights in a room split about 150 estimate, entry with an extra handout around 100, 20 a day for food about 100, misc. parts about 100 equals around 450. There's more I am sure but not too bad.

5 months and counting

They prolly figured in the airplane ticket as well. That wouldn't be a problem for me since I will soon have a job for FedEx= free jump seat.

That's true.... still under 1k probably. I heard some INDY racers got 115 airfare roundtrip for the 'Birds right now from ATA airlines...

If they send you overnight make sure to have some airholes in the box... LOL
