So are these the rules to date at "The Track"(?):

The T-Spec Kit for $199.99 [linkage] which includes:
T-Spec Bodies
T-Spec Motor (21 turn?, any brand?)
T-Spec Batteries (1600mAh)
32-48 pitch pinion/spur

What we need to buy:
T-Spec Foam tires
Any Oil
Any Radio
Any Receiver

Is this it? I might have to purchase this right away, hell I can buy a entire setup for a very inexpensive price!
Hey VRF201, I thought the price at Mimi's was less than $199?!??!?!?!?

I thought it was less also.

I heard $140.00, but I could be wrong.

Nova F1 Racing - I sent an email to Bill Henning (http://www.outlawracingleague.com) to ask about the gear issue.

The question being, what do they run?

Will let you know what he says when I get a response back.

It may be I was just going through web shopping links. If Mimi (i met her today but she never mentioned anything about T-Spec) is selling the complete kit for lower, ding!

Yes, but the shipping costs 15.... And in this case I'd rather support the local hobby shop..... And she has spare parts already...

If the gearing can be either then I'm not going to run in the first series.... Don't have the time to get the car setup for the right gearing pitch/etc right now....

Nova F1 Racer - If it's $150 for the kit with the body/motor and battery I'd agree. But if it's $200, $60 more is steep imo.

P.s. - You get that nose cone back on your new body? I asked you about it on the weekend when I saw it.

Nova F 1 Racer,

Rick don't fret about the gearing. Their is usually a good tire diameter to start with then find out what the fast guy is using (for pinnion spur combo).

Sorry to butt in on yur forum but I had a question for you. My local track has been toying with the idea of running t-specs. It has not gone over to well. Some see it as an entry level class and others see it as an even playing field where driving skills are #1. How do you guys see this? Are experienced drivers running the cars at your tracks or is it entry level?
Thanks
Jim the fast guys will come around sooner or later . I just tell them they can't beat me at this. If you think you can SHOW ME . ALL YOU NEED IS A TSPEC CAR AND SOME WHEELMANSHIP.

PS. RICK DID I GET IT RIGHT THIS TIME?

WHEELMANSHIP
