Default News and PIcs of the layout.

Second race went down today. Two heats of sportsman 1/8th scale. Tony Magenuco took 1st place in the A. Corey and Scott bumped from the B. I snapped some shots befor I left today. The track design by Jim Pierce. I thought I was racing the Sat. Series and I didn't run once this weekend. Here is the left side of the track.

Default Bring out those electrics

The 1/10th scale class should be a good turn out this weekend. We had seven entrys for Truck Sat. I'm thinking there will be a class of monster truck. Revo will probably bring some more racers out. As far as the track its ten fold better. I collected a lot of those loose rocks. We also put up a green mesh net along the back fence. Shorter R/c Raceway only ten bucks.

i hope to come out this july (late) and race at your new track, love the huge berms and elevation changes. any plans on adding another one of those 180 turns that uses a wall ride to get huge speed through it?

It is our intention to change the layout about once every five weeks. See you in July. There will most likely be a few berms.
What class do you run?

Hello, I'm a semi regular at what was LPRP..
Looks like you're doing some good things at your new track...
I was just curious...where you put the green mesh, I had a couple of banners up there. Nova, and EBMods, any chance those are still floating around somewhere?
I hope to make it out to race the MT class this weekend...

Thanks!
Larry

Hey, I was wondering if you got the timing system up, and running?
The lack of a timing system drove many racers away from LPRP...
TOO much human error, I suppose...

I am lost- Its funny you ask that! I was looking at some prices for the ambrc system last night...they aren't cheap. I know what you are saying though I was missed laps on more than one occassion. So far only one missed lap in two days of racing and we skipped that car on purpose. Fact of the matter is Jimmy and I won't be racing much we are working together to make it most enjoyable for you.

Also I am not certain what happend to those banners I will check with Brian. Bring out those Monster Truck guys! We run them all in one class all chassis welcome CEN, Traxxas T-MAXX and REVO, Savage, Mammoth, BFT.

*** Shorter RC Raceway is a Super Dialed Track!!!!***

I drove on it last week and I'll be back this weekend to race 1/10th scale truck.

For the racers who have never been there or haven't been there in a while, you need to come out.

The new owner and the staff of Shorter RC Raceway are all RC Racers (Die Hards).
