my 2 cent....
good to know, i ordered one last night. the selling point for me was that the hpi can accept proper sized 2s batteries. i ran my m03 mini cooper last night for a few laps with one of those traxxas 1/16 and the mini kept up with it, i think the cup racer is going to do very well against them to say the least.

on the cup racer the weak link is the drive cup (order the exotek cup) for the shaft other than that nothing comes to mind. were are you racing at.

it's out doors and the season is over. www.rcrnv.com I think

www.middleriverhobbies.com/ and www.htufrederickmd.com/ are both indoor tracks... hope this helps. I will post later about any racing that we plan on doing so keep a lookout. I've been running my baja's and forgot all about the mini but I will be back because tomorrow is the last race for the season.

not alot of action in here, but i'll give a little update:

i have found the hinge pin braces to be the weak point.

i can't seem to get through 2 batteries in a row with out one bending and then the arm comes off. it's frustrating.

i just ordered an ABC genetic for racing. i'll keep the cup racer as a back up or just as something different, but for oval racing with wall's the cup racer is just to fragile. the inner rear tierod ends split if you slap the wall with the tail too. i've got it back together but i need a car that can go to battle (rubbin's racin lol) on the oval, the cup racer is not that car.

i still like the car alot, but in order to finish an evening of racing i need something else.
