Micro King Challenge info, new track lay out for the race is completed. Team Novac, Hitec RCD, HPI racing, Proline Racing and KO Propo USA have also send us hands out prizes.

This race will show how much support from micro car audiences and what kind of potential market for this size car. So come on out, race with us and show them that the market is still healthy and worth putting money into R&D to bring out newer, better and more exciting product(s).

Don't for get RACING TONIGHT AT 6:00 pm.

Mr. P, how exactly does this timing system (transponder) install into our car?.. You mention wiring, what is that?..

Mr. Osherman, the transponder that we are using is about 20% thicker than AMB Personal transponder. It actually have only a crystal and small PC board with wire comming out. It utilize power from battery via one of the channel on your receiver hence the need for connection(wire) from receiver to the transponder(just like personal transponder). Since the crystal also need ground lead and some receiver battery slot do not have ground lead, in this case we have a y connector that you can put it between your channel 1(steering) and the servo.

Placement of the transponder is fairly critical, you should not put it above battery. From the past experience, the battery seems to shield the signal from our detector wire.

Hope to see you gentlemen at the race. The rule is pretty simple any chassis are allowed. If it is based on HPI, you can run up to 6 Cells while X Ray M18 based will need to be up to 5 cells.

Default Mini-T Racing at the "X-FEST"

There will be Mini-T racing at this years X-FEST in Pittsburgh PA. This is an event held by local rock radio stations. There is a thread started on it in the "Chat Forum" - The "X-FEST" - R/C Demonstrations
The radio talent will be racing against each other, where the general public will be able to try to beat the best times. Should be fun. More info at www.steelcityhobbies.com Also, there will be other R/C demonstrations during the day.
