Are you guys still interested in racing/practicing at SVM?
BTW I saw one of Kevin's awesome bodys displayed in the hobby shop.

Anybody wants a modified GT4 ? a HPI mirco RTR? an EV1999 1/8 Picco Integra w/ engine?

Thumbs up

I'm looking forward to going tommorrow. Changed the side exaust to rear again. Hope I get some track time to get dialed. A friend of mine went to Revalation yesterday and practiced. We need to go there soon.

Hey y'all how's the new sedans? Why'd you go away from the Yoke, it's still totally competitive... ask Chris Tosolini?! Missed you guys on Sunday though, should have just come out anyway!

I hear ya bro... sometimes we need a little remotivation to go out a kick some booty. There's no doubt in my mind that it's a great car (I've driven one), and I've heard they'll have a solid rear for it too, or you could just possibly lock the rear ball diff...pretty cool. The only thing I don't like is the tank- I saw Jarrod's running and it looked like a washing machine inside. I haven't heard anyone complain about engine tuning problems so far though, so that's encouraging.

yeah...you are right about the washing machine part....as long as you go for a fuel that doesn't foam easily...like the Sidewinder.....you are safe. I doubt if the oneway-solid diff combo will work on the car though. ......where are you guys heading this weekend? Edwin's gonna do Hot Rod's this Sunday. I might drop by. How's the track condition at SVM lately...I think I feel the need for speed.(I'm not talking about our .12s)

Not sure right now, I may go to So Cal on Sat., or on Sunday go to Rod's or KZ or Revelation or C.P. or...not sure. Hey wanna go to Vegas in a month for the next round of the series? My wife and I are thinking about it. I think Louis said he went last year and said it was a blast.

BTW How come you don't think the one way/solid rear will work? It's awesome in the belt driven tourers. If you could get it to hook up as your eighth scale does, you'll definitely launch even harder out of corners.

I have heard also that Lola bodies don't fit very well on the NTC3...major bummer-do you know if that's true?

I think overdrive ratio is one of the key factors in 1/8 scale technology and I think the TC3 doesn't have it.

Just found this place.

Tambok...get better. How come you never come out and race anymore? Haven't seen you guys in a while.

What happened to everyone last weekend for SVM? Jarrod, why'd ya go to Hot Rod?

The NTC3 is awesome. Raced mine for the first time last weekend and it is really as good as they say. I'd happily put that car with diffs up against any other car with a one-way solid rear combo.

Maybe see you guys this weekend at Rod's or SVM.

Later.

ChrisF:
Glad to hear from you again. We will be at Hot Rod this Sunday. I haven't gotten my NTC3 yet . My brother got one......just like before...when the GT4 first came out.

Been suffering from " R/C Burn out" had to stay away from it for a while or else I might do something drastic.........hahaha

So are you saying that Edwin is the more "Impulsive" of the two of you (get it?)?

If I can sort out a few sets of foams, I should be there. Not into paying $40 to race at Revelation tomorrow. It's not even a major race and it's way too expensive.

Seems there's been a run on 35-42 shore (rear) tires in the socal area. Try finding some. Only place I know that has them is Hot Rod's and he wants $22.95 a set for them!!

Hope to see you guys there.
