Does Crystal have a race schedule, and if so when are they racing there?

Give them a ring. Not sure about current schedule, but there is usually practice during the day and racing on Sundays. 310 631-0307

ChrisF-
Thanks for the info also.
Guys we should head out to one of the other 1/8th scale tracks soon. Looks like Vegas is out for me, I can't get a call back or info regarding entry. There goes my two throw out rounds already. I probably won't bother with the rest of the "series" then...

Kevin:
The Silverbowl track in Vegas is possibly my favorite track, with Fort Myers, Florida a close second. It is very challenging, fast and fun to drive. If you can find any way to make it, the Speedline race and the now Paris Memorial race are two of the most fun weekends you could ask for if you love racing.
As with Ft. Myers, you have to race there least once in your lifetime...kinda like a pigrimage to Mecca

Yeah I wish I could go but can't get any info, and hotel rooms are getting scarce. I'm bumming out. Are you going to make it? My wife already said she'd go also, but we may end up doing something else that weekend now as a result.

That's not an excuse. If you want to go, I can give you the name of an alternative hotel across the street (Boulder Palms). Plus, call Mike Queller at Speedline and ask him about registering 512 326-8481.
There, I've taken away your excuses

ChrisF, you the man... I'll call in the morning. Are you planning on being there? Don't know anyone else who's going yet.

I just finished assembling my NTC3 last night (until 4AM) . Tested it out on the driveway with the X12 ....this car is SWEET. Had no problem in assembling the car.....the parts fit perfectly.
......will probably go to CAMAMARILLO to test it more....hehehe.

Kev,
The track is well maintained now by a few of my ol R/C friends.
Take the 101 go north until you go down the hill and into the valley of Camarillo.....you know the outlet(favorite place of everybody's wife).......exit Las Posas turn left ...go straight .....until you hit Pleasant Valley Road and Las Posas intersection....turn right........the track is on your right - part of the Freedom Park.......next to the Camarillo Airport. The track is maintained by the Ventura Road Runners R/C Club.

Thanks for the directions Phillip. Is that track open every day. How about evenings?
Cool paint job bro, you should post it in the paintjob thread in electric forum...
ChrisF: Got a call back from the Vegas track last week, and was directed to call someone else for info. Called that guy and left a message, but no return call... 1st guy said he didn't think many spots were left. Dang. Thanks for the help though.
