2010 Hobby Hut Race Season
#46
Psyched on Hobby Hut starting early this year, planning on being there as much as possible this season. You guys always have the most fun layouts in the area, Motorama should hire you to build their tracks...

Team Tekin had the speed at the 2010 Snowbirds!
Tekin was at the 2010 Snowbirds held in sunny Orlando Florida. Dubbed the Super bowl of R/C racing the 2010 Snowbirds were full of some of the toughest competition in the world. Drivers from all over the globe were in attendance at this event. Team Tekin was there in force Tq'ing 4 out of 8 classes! Powering well over half of the field in those Tq'd classes! Jeff Cuffs tq'd both 17.5 GTP and 17.5 Rubber, Donny Lia Tq'd 10.5 GTP and Jason Schreffler Tq'd the 13.5 Rubber TC class which was the deepest class at the event! While some of our Tekin race team had some rough mains all were in contention to win their class. Jason Schreffler though had the speed, talent and the ever so needed Snowbirds luck on his side Tq'ing and winning the 13.5 Rubber Tc class! Brad Johnson also won the 17.5 Rubber TC class followed by Jeff Cuffs(tq) who was less than 1.5 seconds behind him!
Team drivers like Kenny Lambert, Jeff Cuffs, Alan Behler, and Tekin's own Jim "Prez" Campbell along with many more team drivers were there to support anyone running Tekin.
In Oval team drivers Alan Behler and Phil Marabella were both in major contention showing top level speed early on. Both were in classes where merely being .007 seconds off pace could be the difference from winning and losing! That is close racing. Privateer Steve Miller placed 1st in 21.5 Stock Car followed closely by team driver Phil Marabella both running the Tekin RS.

Wow, even the offroad guys find the onroad stuff. That's cool.
Thanks for the props guys. After a season of indoor onroad, I'm eager to get outside and race.
Can't wait to run my new car too... whenever it comes.
