US Racing Series on the Web

I'm new to RC racing so I've been searching the 'net. I came across the site for the European Touring Series. Nice site, news, racer info, pictures, a few videos, lots of details, professional and polished looking. So I started searching for similar sites for U.S. based racing series and came up short. Mostly links to magazine articles and forums. Can anyone point me to some good sites tracking racing and it's stars? Has anyone considered starting such a site here in the U.S.?
