I was out at the track today for a little test and tune. Mike Q. (track designer) has made a couple of subtle changes to the track.
The changes made continued to improve the already flowing layout. I also spoke with Jeremy and he intends to have all of the pit spots labled on WED morning. That means that if you want to pit along side of your buddies, you will need to get your entry in via an email to me no later than TUE night at 9:00 pm Central Time (my email is on the race announcement on the 1st post of this thread). You will be able to enter at the race on FRI but there will be no assurance as to where your pit will be. Thank you to all that have entered via email thus far.
Roger

A BIG thanks to John Stranahan for taking the pictures and posting them along with the results for all to see.
The crew at Mike's Hobby Shop did a GREAT job in preparing the track and providing generous hospitality throughout the weekend.
How about the announcer, BIG PHIL, who kept us on a schedule. Thanks for all of your work Phil.
Thanks again to ALL that came out to race in this year's GULF COAST GRAND PRIX and made it a recognizable event on the calendar.
And a SPECIAL THANKS to the weather gods who held the rain back until we concluded the awards ceremony. How lucky was that?

We will like to thank the Gulf Coast Crew for the hospitality and the great event. Our drivers did a great job gathering a lot of info for the upcoming WC as well as having a great result in the Main.
