Just a heads-up for the Fastcats race:

I just got my passport on Saturday. I applied for it on Aug 25, so it took just under 4 weeks.

Let's not be like the typical R/C racers and put everything off until the last minute...get it done now!

Thye have a little more side bite so you might have to to make the car roll a little more.

I can guarantee there will be no shortage of sacks at this race.

Okay, maybe I missed something, why does it say race 3 is Cincinnati? I thought it was CRC raceway in Rome?

It was announced at the classic that the third race is going to be moved to Tri-state in cincinnati. This was due to some sort of scheduling conflict for the CRC crew.

It's the year 2009. Shouldn't vacuum cleaners be quieter by now?

Apparently there was some scheduling issues with the hotel(s) in the area that Frank wanted to have the race at, so they backed out and Tri-State stepped up to host Round 3.

Heads Up for those from the US planning to attend the NEGS race at FASTCATS!

I applied for my passport on the 16th of October and received it in the mail today. I was expecting it to take 4-6 weeks but it took only 3 weeks for them to get it to me. It appears that now is a great time to go get a passport if you haven't already.

Yes, indeed! I applied for mine 2 months ago, and had it in 3-1/2 weeks.

You can download the application here:
