That would be so fun to have a circuit all through AZ. How could we do it though with some of these tracks being specific to only certain classes, onroad, offroad 1/8th, 1/10th, ect....

The Nitro Pit and Kenny have a winter series for 1/8 scale and they might run a SC class and I was told it is going to be big this year. Last year we went to 4 tracks and this year it will be more.

Is ET on the list for the winter series?

Only if Jona has it fully race ready and capable of handling 150 racers. The same with all the other tracks. I hope the new track opening in Tucson is on the circuit also!

That new indoor flagstaff track looks like a pretty sweet setup! I have been there before the track was built and it was just a motorcycle dealer, its a pretty nice big place, but its indoor so the nitro guys couldnt run there. Theres a few onroad only places on that list too. If you guys include the short course trucks you can count my son and I in, and im sure alot of other people since that class is growing very fast!

This is usually how the winter series works:

It is mostly 8 scale Nitro Bug/trug
Kenny will have a separate class for electric 8 scale only if he gets at least 6 entries
Indoor, 10 scale, or onroad tracks are not on the circuit
SC class is in discussion but I dont think its been finalized yet.

I dont know if there is enough time in 1 day to have SC and Electric 8 scale as well as Novice, sportsman, and Expert Nitro 8 scale, but you never know..they could cut race times to fit it all in

The Winter Series is a 1/8 Scale Off-Road Nitro Series. Not electric not onroad maybe some of the onroad or electric guys should organize or ask Kenny for some pointers but leave our Winter Series alone its a great series. Now with all these new tracks it should be even bigger and better for us 1/8 scale offroad racers.

JBRL's have far more entries and classes than the nitro pit winter series, you just start earlier in the day.

And SRS is a 10th scale track and is in the winter series

Any room at Anthony's track in Presscott to run a series race? Would be the same as running at Paddocks last year.

Yes the jbrl is a one day thing, they get between 200-300 people at some of them and get done by midnight.

They sacrifice run time to make sure everyone gets home at a reasonable hour, it's a trade off. At the JBRL quals are 5 minutes with only 2 minutes of warmup before the loop goes live. He might even shorten quals to 4 minutes if he gets too many entries.

The A-mains are sometimes as short as 10 minutes and never longer than 15 minutes. Jimmy waits to set the main lengths until after quals are over and figures out how long or short they need to be to get everyone out by around 9 or 10pm.

It's another great example of how you can't make everyone happy. Many people love the fact that they can attend a 200+ entry race, do it in one day and be home at a reasonable time. And then there are others that never stop bitching because they don't get enough run time.
