We usually have a huge 1/5 scale turnout and man it makes for some exciting racing I definetly encourage you guys to come down and check out the track before the series. We usually have practice going Saturdays or Sunday Mornings. Let us know if you are interested and we will make sure you find it!

very first post at the beginning of this thread has the schedule. As for working in the heat I did for three years as a rubberized asphalt plant operator try 110+ degrees and working around a plant that is 375 degrees, I know what hot is!!

but anywho, definately make the trip from Tuscon it will be a good time.

And the 5th scale class is a hoot!! tell anyone who has one to bring it, we usually have great class turnout and killer support from the hardcore hpi guys.

Quick question for you guys. Do we have to have a ROAR membership or will the $16 for the first race cover it. I cant race every race in the series so I dont want to pay the $40. I raced out there the first race you had and just got the one day $15 membership + $10 race entry. Just to let every one know they have a KO transponder system you have to plug into your RX so leave the Personal at home because you need the space to put there wire into your box on 1/8 scale or you have to poke a hole in your box and find a place to mount the transponder

If it's roar sanctioned like it says then roar requires you to get the one day pass or the year membership because of the insurance, but if you don't plan on going to any roar events (other then this series race) then there's really no need to get a full membership. But shuuuuuuush, dawn might be watching.

I will probably be out there on Sunday morning as well. Gotta check with the boss... LOL Marcus thank you for pointing out the transponder system I totally forgot to mention it. As far as the ROAR goes it is $30 for the year or $15 for the day so you should have gotten the year... We would love to have you back out and racing once again! Torco was approached as a sponsor the point series but I need to get that confirmed.
