This thread is in dangerous territory. What you're doing is a very GOOD thing and everyone in your surrounding states would like to see you succeed. Keep the thread positive!
Do you see a multi-day event as a possibility? I'll tell you what'd be perfect for me and other people can chime in...
Saturday practice until noon. 2 rounds of qualifiers starting at 1:00PM. Open practice in the evening once qualifiers are done. Sunday mains starting at 9:30AM. 30 min A mains, 20 minute lower mains with bump-ups.
The reason this would be perfect is that I could leave home after work on Friday and spend the night in Vegas. Next morning I'm up and tuning the car. Mains are done by early-mid Sunday afternoon and I'm on my way back to Utah.
There's a chance you'd even get some electric guys from here in Utah. Full electric mod on a track that big could be fun.

Organized On-Road racing in Vegas!! You have heard the rumors, and it is for real. We are here to promote racing and bring back racing fun to the most exciting city in the world! The interest and feedback has been awesome! Thank you in advance for sharing our excitement and supporting us.
I am glad to see the track put to good use...There are places that have tracks in worse shape and charge to practice...this track is immaculate and is free during the week...club racing will save on road and revive rc in Vegas...as long as there is a class for new racers and beginners* to enter every week...
As far as the racing is concerned, is it going to be strictly all nitro, a combination of nitro and electric, or electric one race weekend and nitro the next race weekend? Will there be beginner/spec/novice classes or will it be everybody lumped together in each class, run what you brung?
