The Famous Las Vegas Silver Bowl RC Track

Hi all,

I live in Colorado but will be in Vegas next week on vacation. Contemplating bringing my nitro. Do you all race every weekend? I just have an RTR, never raced before but wanting to. Is there a permanent track in the area to just practice? I also have a Nitro Truck. Is there an off road track in the area?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Frank there are two tracks side to side, Off Road & On Road. they are both open to public 7 days week.

Thanks Robert. I was going to upload them here but the files were too large and they didn't link here the first time I tried it. I didn't add any more car photos, but I did add a few from the airfield as well. No jet photos up yet. Good luck tomorrow if I don't see you guys.

Club racing today small turn out but I have to say heat in all it was fun day, I think heat reached 109 degree, I am sure the heat kept few people in doors today. I know my foams on my GT car came off at 187 they were hot.

Doc smoked his Crodock brakes on his GT, or melted, eaither way nice smell, when they get to that point.

Mark thank you very much for bring out the machine to prep that track that was my first time with it, and it works great. I think the sugar mix today was right on, the 25 gallons was perfect to due dring line, I think next race we will due 50 gallons and go line to line, that is 10 laps around the track. Today everyone took turn driving it around thank you all for that. it was lot eaiser than i thought. I have video of Steve Jackson duing his lap on it will post soon.

Jack and Fred thanks again for help on preping track on Saturday, We did sign on New members today Thank you George Lopez, Jack Holms, Steve Jackson.

Yup, was a cool breezy 85 deg. "NICE" the whole time, well maybe 87 Haa.

Sign me up I'm back , I'm in, see you guys next outing. Tires are in and I'll have it at the track with me.

Sorry Fred, only got a couple shirts for "ME". , I got a few 2-3 lbs tako's (He'e- HI octopus), did some fishing but no luck, but lot's of cold ones and BBQ action on the beach's and on the mountain slopes (up country) with friends and family. Good times for sure.

Cool, the track zambonie took top honors at the 1st on road outing I see. ,

Should be better each time out.

Bad timing on the tires, I got swamped with last minute work orders to finish before leaving and was pressed for time to get them to you. I'll have them for sure next outing, got a few nice all weather threaded radials 50 shore on hand as well, Very nice tires.
