ROAR Region 1 Needs You!
We are setting up a management structure for members to be involved with the way that ROAR functions in the Region. We are looking to identify an Area Coordinator for every racing facility or cluster of facilities in the Region, as well as local hobby shops. The Area Coordinator must be a ROAR Region 1 Member. At this time, the racing facilities and shops you will work with do not need to be an affiliate.
Your responsibilities will be:
1. Communicate regularly with each facility within your area.
2. Be the eyes and ears of ROAR on a very local, one to one basis by listening to and interacting with both members and non members.
3. Be motivated to improve the quality of ROAR, the local track, the local hobby shop and the community in general.
4. Participate in and promote ROAR’s Mission Statement.
5. Contribute to the forth coming regular newsletter with pictures, articles, reviews and results.
6. Coordinate racing schedules.
7. Become familiar with the rule book, policy and procedure.
8. Participate in forums with the other Area Coordinators and myself.
9. Be able to participate at local events as the Designated ROAR Official at certain events.
10. Be prepared recruit new members, clubs and tracks as ROAR Members.
If you are interested or know someone that might be interested, please contact me as soon as you can. We need to have this established as soon as possible.
