Default Official RROC So. Cal Warm Up Race

The Roadrunners RC Club is proud to announce we will be hosting the Official Reedy Race of Champions Southern California Warm Up Race at the newly renovated and newly re-paved facility in sunny Camarillo CA on April 25th and 26th.

The Roadrunners track, compared to Speedworld Raceway facility is the closest to size, traction and ability to host such a large event in all of Southern California.

I have been working with Speedword Raceway to ensure the Roadrunners duplicate the RROC as close as possible. Three rounds of qualifying on Saturday the 25th and one round qualifying and the mains on Sunday the 26th.

For this warm up race, we will only be running the (2) classes specified by RROC, 13.5 and open Modified. Tech rules and tires requirements will be the same as the actual event. Tire specification will be announced soon. Entries will be limited to 200. Pre-registration is a must to attend this evet and will be available in the next few days at roadrunnersrc.com. Keeping the racer in mind, the entry fees will be the same low price we always offer. 15.00 = First Class, 10.00 = Second Class for non-club members. 10.00 = First Class, 5.00 = Second Class for club members.

Keep an eye out for more details as they come in. Please feel free to PM or email me with any questions.
Thanks
Steve

Pre-registration is now up and running on the Roadrunner web site. This is the only way you can register for this event. You can also see the list of entries of racers who have signed up.

Update:

The Roadrunners RC Club will be awarding the winners of the So. Cal Warm up race there entry fee to the 2009 RROC at Speedworld RC. The winner from each of the (2) classes will get a paid entry for the same class you run at the warm up race.

You can click on this link to pre-register for the event. http://www.roadrunnersrc.com/?page_id=270 This is the only way to register and it is very easy to do. You can also see the list of racers that will be attending. This warm up race has the racer in mind, there will be no trophies, trophy girls or event shirts…..just racing, good times and a great program at a low club cost. 15.00/10.00 for non Roadrunner members and 10.00/5.00 for members.

So, I you want to see how you rank among the best in So Cal, or you want to practice for the main event, this is the race for you.

Thanks
Steve

With 200+ racers possible, even if we did it straight through it would be a 2-day race...
