I need to get confirmation but I think the track will be sprayed Friday late afternoon. If a club member is there practicing (has a key to the gate), you can run. Let me find out about the spray.

Default 795 closed @ I-280

For anyone coming up from the south and take I-75 to 795 to I-280. The on 795 that goes over I-280 is closed for replacement. There is a posted detour that takes you South on I-280 so you get to back track a few miles before you can go North.

A quicker way, and easy, is to turn LEFT at the stop light BEFORE the railroad crossing (The stop lights are pole mounted, you'll know it when you see it, and approx 1 mile BEFORE the the closed bridge) The cross road is Lemoyne Rd. After turning LEFT, continue on Lemoyne Rd. until you reach Woodville Rd. When you get to Woodville Rd. there will be a BP station at the corner. Turn RIGHT and you will reach the Woodville Mall as usual. If by chance you miss the light on 795 you'll know it, I just turned around and went back. If you miss the turn at Woodville Rd. You will pass a Bob Evan's that will be on the right.

I wish I could be there, good luck everyone.

I think the bridge will be done by the Nats, but who knows...................

Squishy,

Thanks for the traffic report. Too bad you can't make it. I'll have to pick on Andy for you.

How is the race schedule going to go? 3 heats on Saturday, 1 on Sunday then mains?? Do I need to bring table/chair, overhead cover?

That is our normal schedule. 3 quals on Sat, one more Sun morning, followed by 1/2 hour mains for everyone. Weather may play a part, as of now, the forcast is not good for Sat. IF we were to get a rain-out on Sat., we would most likely run 2 quals on Sunday and shorten the mains according to demands of turn-out (# of heats on the board).

The club has a few permanent shelters. I would suggest bringing your own table, chair and shelter. I will let the club answer with regard to access to said shelters and the ROAR membership question too. I can print some forms out, or you can join/renew online at ; roarracing.com. If you do it that way, print your confirmation and bring that with..

Pre-reg is not working yet. It's not as simple as it should be, our new host does not support cgi scripts (has to do with the form), so I have to set it up differently and I have not had time to tackle the learning process. I will get it working one way or another after this weekend. If you like, you can e-mail your info to me!
