Annual Indoor Champs Warm-up!!
Well-I guess the Halloween Classic was a good warm-up for the US Indoor Champs, but the Gate in Maple Heights is holding its annual US Indoor Champs Warm-up and Race from Nov. 22nd-Nov. 25th.
Schedule is:
Saturday Open practice all day 10am to 8pm
Sunday Race (3-heats and a Main) 8am-??
Monday Open practice all day 10am to 10pm
Tuesday Open practice all day 10am to 10pm
As always-bring your own table and chair. if you are flying in-then e--mail
Aaron Tables/Chairs to reserve a table and chair.
Jlap will be running all day for those running Personals. Handout transponders are also available. You can check lap times all day!!!
The On-site hobbyshop is Fully stocked now!!! I mean Fullly!! BRP, AE, Speedmerchant, Losi, Niftech, Paragon, Motor spray, brushes, batteries and tires, tires, tires!!!
Cost works out lke this:
Practice $20/day
Race on Sunday $15 first entry $10 second
Table/Chair $10/day (Thats our cost to rent them).

The track is located about 10 minutes from the Holiday Inn on Rockside road. You hop on 480 west and its only a short hop!!
If for some reason you cannot get your room in advance at the Holiday Inn Rockside, you can stay at the same hotels as the Classic.

I think they learned that from Woodstock, land of the $20 bottles of water.

sat is only 10 to 8pm (probably be there much later), but Mon and Tuesday are 10 to 10pm. You get to run all day, great facility and amenities and Jlap is running all day to do your lap times.
Outside of that-we re-invest heavily in our track and like I always say-if you want a killer race track and facility, it takes more than $5 race fees to keep it running and to upgrade!!!
I mean on one improvement alone we spent over a $700 on leveling a bump in the backstraight. We spent that much or more on the lights, and nearly $4k on the summer improvements (new boards, new perimeter bords, paint, drivers stand....)...
