Is there a hint of what the track layout is going to look like, or will it be a design as you go?

I don't post much but I'm always reading. I just moved to Corona. I'm deffinately in for 1/10 & 1/8 nitro racing there. Work in the motorsports industry and know exactly where it is. Great news.

Hey green machine, OC Circuit races in the Hobbytown USA parking lot in Corona off magnolia and ontario in the Vons Shopping center every 4th sunday of the month. Nitro sedan is a small class compared to the electric turnouts but the more people that show up with one, the more that bring theirs out.

Any updates on Orange blast though?

It's a long drive for me but worth it if the track surface is good and there will be a 1/8 GT class. I'd like to run 1/10 Nitro sedan and 1/8 GT.

I've got plenty of places to run my 1/10 electric stuff, including my excellent home track in Camarillo.

If you join your club would that include any required insurance? That's the way I'd set it up if it were me.......

Keep us posted on developments.

Are you guys impatient or what!?

It hasn't even been a month since this thread was started and now most of you are basically starting a self-generated rumor that this venue 'isn't happening'....give it a rest.

Of course we're impatient (in a polite way ) I was at CP too and everyone was very upbeat and excited about it. Someone even said asphalt was already layed. (Haven't been by yet, so I don't actually know) I think we all just wanted to see continous updates like when the thread started. I've been curious and checking the thread constantly, even though I don't post much. That's all.. Hey JOHN what's up? I'll never forget again, I promice! Thanks for the dremel on Saturday.

Also, I herd this weekend that it is the same person that started up or ran the Sun Valley track. Is this true? Cool if it is. Cool either way actually.

I went by there about a week and half ago and there was nothing going on. I saw the RC drag strip. There is existing asphalt there but it is way old and not raceable. I didnt see anything to lead me to believe that there was a race track being built. But thats not to say that its not happening. It would just be nice if the person who started this thread would post any updates, instead of leaving us hanging.

yes we are impatient (anxious is more like it) were not demanding anything, would just like an update, raising money, talking with the city, waiting for the right solar eclipse(j/k) something to let us know we're not getting smoke blown up our skirts. There has been quit a few talks about tracks opening and nothing happens.
