i guess they are running now. still on teh 1st round. Due to the rain, they ahd to start late. According to peeps, they are having a great time! Good luck to everyone! Hope some of the OC peeps represent!

Ran 2 rounds of qualifying then rain. Main results were based on qualifying then.

Track was damp most of the day which made for some interesting racing...

KDR and the Ventura Roadrunners made the best of what they could given the conditions and hopefully things will go better next year.

Steve, lets work on your GOD skills next time. Like making the rain cloud dissapearing.... just kidding.

Had a great time racing with you all, except for the wet track the program was actually a SHOW. and keeping everybody busy and interested in all heats.. Have to say Thanks and maybe next time the rain god will dance befor the racing begains...till next time..

Thanks to Steve, Dave, Derek and the rest for a great job under tough conditions. It was wet but the track personnel worked like crazy to get a drivable track. Competiton was very good. Things were very well managed under extreme conditions. Most peple had a great time. The San Diego guys kicked ass. Comrade Fill, Jose Molina, Chuck Leslie, Danny Egger, Bren Lugo, Sean Popoff were all haulling ass. Do it again and hope Mother Nature is on our side.

I just wanted to say thanks for everybody who attended the first and second KDR classic. Also thanks to Dererk for keeping the program interesting. Thanks to Mobil Dave.....I could not have done it with out you. Thanks to Gina the Hotdog girl. Most of I just hope that people had a good time and will enjoy there trophies, t-shirts and any prizes they may have won. I can't wait to do it again.

What a great show you put on. I couldn't believe how many people were there early in the rain. I guess it shows what committed nuts we are! Derek, Dave and yourself should be proud of the awesome job you did. I can only imagine how much fun it would have been in the dry sunshine. Thanks to all who came from out of town, and it's always nice to see the Associated guys. I'm already lookin' forward to the 3rd annual (or is it the 2nd or 2 1/2 annual!!)

Hey!! Thats me!!! . We sure did have a lot of fun at the KDR race. Everybody had patience, and noone complained. ANd it sure was a lot of fun racing on a wet track, powerslide BABY!!!.

I also took a lot of pics, if I time I will try to post some.
