RE:Micro Classes
In the interest of simplifying the classes, depending on the interest level, the classes will be "stockrubber"/ and "unlimited mod/open tire (foam or rubber)". Any chassis mods, options allowed for either class. Minimum 8 pre registered signups.
Thanks,
AH

Local organizers can also divide the classes into Beginner, Sportsman and Expert.
For chassis types not listed, it is at the discretion of the local organizers to add those classes.
Minimum pre registered entrants for additional classes is 8 cars.

These are the two things these guys might not like (in stock class). I don't see them buying foam tires... and I'm not sure about the bigger motors. Through anything else in it you want.
I took it as the 180 or the 45t motors only... I've had both, but don't recall much of an advantage to the 45t...tires could pose a problem. I had the only mod car at Dayton last year and had to convert to stock....tires were the big difference...I ran a practice with foams and a stock motor . then on rubber for the qualifer......it slowed down quite a bit.
The "open tires" for stock class is in response to the potential difficulties of people locating rubber tires, last year I had quite a number of people asking if I had any tires here. The main thing with the micro classes is to get a general consensus from those who are going to attend and decide what is a reasonable spec. We are definitely open to you're suggestions. Again, most of the "open" rules are to simply make it easier for people to attend.
ok guys, we are going crazy about what is supposed to be fun racing, dont get me wrong I like to win, but stock micro should have a stock chassis and any HPI optional parts. they should run rubber tires. thats what we alway done, start now looking for tires, batties and anything else you will need. LETS HAVE FUN !!!!!!!!!!

I'm with you about this... stock should mean stock chassis, motor & tires.
