We will be using the front lot for our club races, and the back lot for the HPI Challenge.
I know you'll all love this location, as it has a miniature golf course, massive indoor arcade (i.e. air conditioning), and the BEST EATINS you ever had trackside!
This will be a great location to bring your entire family for the weekend, cause they'll have a lot to do other than watching us play with our toy cars....LOL
There are two adjacent restaurants that we will also draw spectators from, so this'll be HUGE.
Hi Ray...
nice to hear from you. I will make it to your challenge this year. I think, with the class of cars HPI wants to promote, that a parking lot course is ideal....
Can't wait......Got any heads up on hotels?...

Are the rules saying that all class of HPI/HB trucks are going to race against eachother... ie savage vs. helfire? or savage nitro racing against savage flux? Just doesn't seem exactly right. I know for a fact I cut 3 seconds off of my lap times switching from my savage to the helfire. The savages just will NOT be able to compete with the helfire. And... half of winning a MT nitro race is your ability to tune and keep your clutch and engine together. Putting an electric on the track with the nitros just is not right! Any comments?
hey..I have question......Shouldn't the rules be and HPI engine 12-18?....HPI hasn't made a 12 to 15 in a LONG while....
Can't expect new RTR owners to downgrade to the T(had) 15, right?...

each race director has the ability to split out the classes if they have enough turnout...
so I wouldn't worry - if the person running your challenge sees the need to separate the MT's from the electric, then he/she would.
plus most timing software allow classes to be run together but scored separately - so if you have 8 total trucks, why waste and entire heat (and close to 30 minutes of racing) when you can run them together, but let the timing system separate the classes.
Last year in NJ we did that with the micro class - we ran both stock and pro classes together, but in the end, the results had has separate
The HPI Challenges are usually VERY long days - so it looks like HPI is just trying to condense the classes as much as possible to help make things run more smoothly

Acutally that sounds great. If they seperated the MT's from the truggies but let both run at the same time. Thats an Ideal race for the MTs, the truggy guys might not be happy about the bashing and crowded track, but still awsome for the MTs!!!

Then again, HPI stopped supporting the R40 - and the evo3's aren't much of a 'mod' racer-chassis
This is not a reason to leave out the class. Many people have retained these cars. In fact, they can still be obtained - if, you know where to look. The class should be on the list.
