Mark, don't know if you remember me, we spoke a few times when I worked with Trinity -- anyway, I'll be at the Worlds, hopefully I will get my laptop fixed in time to take it with me.

Hey Nick,
Congrats on on making the team. Its been a while shince we last talked. How did you get from NJ to FL? Hope everything is well and good luck!
My guess would be they wont let anyone in on where the jumps will be until the first day of practice... Otherwise it would be an unfair advantage to those who knew.

At some of the larger events, they have designated practice rounds. You'll be split up into 10 different groups for practice, and they will give you a time that you can go out and practice, propably a 10 minute window. At events like this, they try to level the field as much as they can, and give everyone the same amount of practice on the track.

Mark - moved to FL about 2yrs ago. Still run for Trinity, Ernie has always been good to me.
David- I sent an e-mail to Bob Ingersol (ROAR tech. director), his answer to me was:
Nick,
It is our understanding from IFMAR that the cells will be inspected per the rules and that they are allowing the shrink wrap/ label to be the determining factor for final legality of the GP cells. At this time the cells from the ROAR approved list that will be allowed are the following (brief descrition here, the full description can be found at roarracing.com):
Rainbow colored shrink
Yokomo Blue shrink
2/3 Green/ 1/3 Orange
The Sanyo RC3300HV is also legal.
Chris - I would suppose with 95 drivers (I think I counted 95), they will run T-times- 10 drivers per heat, 10 rounds, guessing 5 minutes per heat. Minnreg runs a great program, and the race director is truly world class. I can't wait to find out how the jumps will be layed out. Personally, I think the track is going to be tight. If I can help you with anything else, please let me know, see you at the race.
