The Funny Four Hours Of Raytona were great to watch
I would be interested in an enduro race

I'd like to see a "real" enduro - like 10 or 24 hours with a RC car, kinda like the ones they do over in Japan

1 chassis for the entire race teams of 5 or 6 guys

Lipo, silver can mabuchi's we'd be able to run for 60-90 minutes on a pack

Has it been decided yet if the RCGT cars will have numbers on the doors and front hood similar to the SuperGT series?

Yeah, numbers just make for a more realisting racing atmosphere. I'm already numbered up. I hope an RCGT class comes about in 09 were those participating agree to asigned or picked numbers to run through out the season. That would be pretty cool.

Lambo ready to roll. Car was tested on Sunday at The Track which is a large 50 x 100 indoor carpet track. The body handles surprisingly very good compared to a Mazda speed 6. The HPI x-pattern had very good traction. The car attracted a lot of attention and won some new recruits.

Hopefully, the RCGT class will attract new racers and older ones that were not attacted to the Trans Am class. Plus there is a small drifting crowd that will definitely go for this. All they have to do is change motors and wheels.

Mimi (owner of the Track) is committed to this class and has already ordered several HPI bodies, wheels and tires.

We plan to start running this class every Saturday and Sunday.

Sunday is an interesting day. Doors open at 12. 2 heats at 1pm and 2pm. Mains at 3, home by 4pm. (Charge your LiPo before you come) A lot of guys tell their SO that they are running to the store and get their RC fix in.

10 to 20 Trans Ams usually show up on Sundays.

not a bad plan, but I got a 3 hour drive down from Philly - so that would have to be one HELL of a trip
