I made a couple 997 bodies for Falken and I used our new #30093 GT WING SET (TYPE E / 10th SCALE / BLACK) because it has more realistic wing mounts.

We have also been going back and cutting/sanding off the Lexan wing studs on the older popular bodies

Thanks,

AH
So HPI is supporting the RCGT class?

oh and those bodies looks awsome!

love the fact that you have been doing modifications to the old bodies to keep them in tune with the trends.

Tamiya watch out!

i agree totally

Up here in Camarillo we ran USVTA for a while but unfortunately it didn't catch on. The 21.5 made for great close racing for novice and expert alike. Yes, it was slow, but if you've ever raced Mini Coopers you know that it doesn't take blistering speed to have fun racing!

That being said, IMO RCGT is great the way it is. At this point everybody and their brother has a 17.5 car and if it ain't broke don't fix it.

USVTA anyone?

I say Keep it 17.5. If you want a faster or slower class, then create one. Officially, the 17.5 is the motor of choice here in Socal. Keeping it all he same across the board should make racing even better once it is fully established as a class locally EVERYWHERE!

Oh.. hehe.

i have been in norway most of the time

and i just picked upp interest in rc again after about 10 yrs.

And i think RCGT absolutely need to ban TC wings and go plastic molded only. you have to break some eggs to make a omelett. i got a Elise my self, not that anything matters since RCGT are not in norway, yet.

All future bodies will be geared towards realistic wings/mountings etc. rather than Lexan race wings. Although we will still include a Lexan high down force RC wing in some bodies so that people would still have options as to what they want to with they're cars and where they want to run them.

What was that you were saying about huge lexan TC wings?

Looks good. I'd love to see a Porsche class next year, plastic wings or not.
