Jeremy,

Sounds like a fun race at a top notch facility gonna try and clear my schedule so I can attend

By the way, on the OCRC website, they did not list stock truck and buggy for this race...just thought you should know

Thanks for the heads up Steve. We hadn't planned on stock classes originally so I'll make sure we get that changed.

As for the Lipo rules in Slash the reason for sticking to 6-7 cell NIMH batteries in that class is to keep the costs as low as possible.

No Lipo in Slash? Most people who get into the Slash class buy lipos to keep the cost down (dont need to buy more then one battery and much simpler to use) . The only people i know who use 6 / 7 cell are people who already race and bought the slash as a filler. I also feel that using a Lipo is a disadvantage because the truck handles better with more weight.

Slash class should be open to 6/7 cell or lipo.

Fez, the Superstock class at OC/RC, does that include 10.5 BL ? I thought until the end of this year, 10.5 was considered (ROAR) 19T ? Hope things are going good, we are in Zonie, doing the AZ Offroad at SRS, I think we are top 5 in both SRS2wd and SRS4wd. See you next week.

hey i got a question? why r u saying no lipo and on the ocrc website it says ocrc rules and when u click on the rules it says u can run lipo? it also says u can run 7 cell, thats pretty stupid when a lipo is slower than a 6 cell. 6 cell puts out more volts its just that the lipo is lighter. 7 cell puts out even more volts so y not let us use lipo? im kinda thinking now i can use lipo so i will be there...

Actually, if you look at some discharge tests people have done, a good NiMH will still have a higher AV discharge curve in most cases.
